About
Ms. Larson began the
practice of law in New York City focused primarily on complex commercial
litigation, Chapter 11 bankruptcy, and securities litigation, including
representing whistleblowers to the Securities & Exchange
Commission. After returning to her home state of Michigan, Ms.
Larson joined the practice at John R. Foley, P.C. bringing a wealth of
knowledge and experience to the firm’s representation of both business and
personal clients.
Ms. Larson’s
practice also includes appellate work in both state and federal courts.
Representative
matters include:
· Secured a
favorable verdict in adversary proceeding between Chapter 11 Debtor and a
clearing bank regarding a special purpose account.
· Defeated claims
by limited partners in a commercial venture regarding
share substitution after a merger and resulting tax claims.
· Obtained
favorable opinion in federal circuit court appeal regarding duplicative
litigation over a REIT merger.
· Obtained parenting
time order for a father denied parenting time for four years.
